Keni was a Washington DC based singer, writer & Producer and originally a member of the Cairo’s of Shrine records fame. He had a later release with the Dreams, ‘They call me Jesse James’. This 70s track has a similar feel to Keni’s ‘What’s her name’ on Buddah.

‘Ain’t gonna make it easy’ is a fairly easy record to find for the moment, which might explain why it was not picked up regular plays on the scene following the success of his Buddah release.
