A Stax/Volts release but this is another artist that Don Davies published through the Memphis label. At the time Stax were desperate for hits and seeing the talent oozing out of Detroit linked up with veteran producer Davies.

JJ Barnes, Darrell Banks, The Dramatics all saw product issued through the Stax/Volt connection, but failed to strike a big hit. There were certainly lots of Detroit credits on this one. Popcorn Wylie and Tony Hestor, song writing partners for hundreds of great sides, came up with yet another winner here with ‘Your my only Temptation’.

Born in 1951 in Detroit, Roz was said to have won a talent contest , the prize being a recording contract and this 45 release .Today Roz is an actress, singer and all round entertainer, residing in Detroit with her own web site.
